CRAA CRAA CRAA !! DING DING DING DING !! Man those sounds are annoying, I’m trying too sleep, but its not helpful when alarms are going off, scary birds keep making WEIRD noises, plus. My sister is dragging me out of bed!

In the morning my family and I got up extremely early, to go to our “Family Day” , the family day was being held at the Palicen Resort Gold Coast, Australia. Our family day was so much fun!
The reason why we went was too see different family’s , from the FALCON team!
The falcon’s team is a Glen Innes team from Auckland, New Zealand!
A lot of my family member’s play in the team. Such as my dad.

In the middle of the day, the Falcons Team were setting up for the day! Like getting the BBQ ready, putting up the HUGE tents, and also watching the little kids (Good on you boys).
In the after-noon, so much kids ended up being there at the Resort.
So much laughing and screaming. I reckon the parents would of been, getting a head ache.
Around about 1:30pm you could hear tony yell out “Shane, Start the BBQ bro”, So Shane replied “Okay mate”,

When the BBQ was sizzling and nearly prepared, Shane got some of the ladies to butter some bread! Well they were, heaps more food was being handed over to put on the table, meat was getting put into the dishes, and at the end of all of that everyone got to shove there mouths with nice BIG juicy steaks. And beautiful salads.
When we were all eating you could mostly hear “hmmmm this is so yummy”, or “OH! yummy yummy yummy yummy”.

At the end of the day! We all stared to pack up, clean, and all go home. Oh well some of us did! Unlike my sister and I, we stayed at the resort for two nights.
Around about 1am in the morning, that’s when everyone went to sleep............BUT ME!
I could not go to sleep with my drunk OLD uncle snoring!!! “AAAAAAAARGHH”.

My Multiple Intelligence's Test...

In my multiple intelligence's test, is BRILLIANT, but there are just some things that I'd have to work on! Such as "Logical & Visual/Spatial".
The ones that the Results and I think I'm good at, are, "Music Smart, Myself Smart, and People Smart" , I'm proud of that.

So next year, I hope to see that chart fully covered! So I better start improving my goals & skills ..

Family Day

“START THE BBQ BRO” , Tony yelled to Shane. In the holidays my family and I went to go and see the falcons and there family’s at the Palican Resort for family day. Family day is a very special day, its when families from around come to see there close one’s and spend the day or night with them.

The things that you could do at the RESORT were so cool. There was Tennis, Paddling Boats, 2 pools, 2 spas and a area where little kids can play. The area I spent most time in was the POOL AREA! I was swimming 24/7.

On family day all of the family’s came too see there members.
I met most of them, I reckon the people I wanted to see the most was my auntie, uncle, and their kids.
On that day when I was meeting familys I got a lot of HUGS and KISSES!! (yuck) …

At the end of the day, It was such a cool & fun time too hang out and meet new people from Australia.
Being in aussie was so much FUN!

AFL Kiwi Kick ..

My highlight for A.F.L Kiwi Kick , was the CRAZY CATCHES ..
We had gotten a choice of crazy catches, such as catching it in between your LEGS , ELBOWS & 1 hand!
Out of 12 passes or more, I probably caught just 2!!
It was quite funny if you had asked me.
So after a few more minute, I started to catch all of the balls because
I was using two hands but A.F.L was awesome and it is a new experience for me

Why Friend Ship is Important , For Life

Friendship, Loving and Caring is a very important thing in the world. if we did not have friend-ship, and hated each other instead the world would be going completely insane .

Friend’s should always have each others
backs, for example if your friend is feeling down make them happy, and make sure that they don’t feel like they have been be-traded or hurt by you.

If there have been dramas at your school with you and your friend, make sure you go to the teacher and tell them before it gets even worst, or before you guys start a war.
because friends should be cheering you up not tearing you down.

In reality you should do some things with your friends like going to the MOVIES or go SHOPPING just for the fun of it. You should keep you and your friends real close.

When your also with your friend make sure that you always make them feel like there protected and safe around you . Friends should be loved, and cared by you . Friend ship is a important thing.
Friends are not only just friends they are also family. If you love and protect your family then you should treat your friends the way you treat them.

Man , Its Winter !

The Season Winter , is VERY VERY VERY VERY cold ! and to be honest it sucks.
Because most of the times you can't run around, play with your friends and muck around and have fun like you do when it is summer ..... Mostly when its summer you can have a lot of fun , because its not wet but I just wonder why the seasons change how could that be.

In New Zealand, Where the mountains are sometimes the cloud's cover it. Its a beautiful site though. New Zealand is such a beautiful place, but I reckon at times it could be freezing cold, and that's why I always get a blanket and cuddle up with it so I can stay nice and warm.

The only cool thing about winter is all of the AWESOME SPORT'S. Thats my favourite part especially Rugby. I love that lols!

But I guess I have to live with winter since it already exsited.
So if you don't like WINTER or if you do like winter leave me a comment , and tell me how you feel .

My Future Furniture Design's ...

My piece of design for the furniture , is completely ‘CREATIVE’ .
It is a Chair and shelve together how amazing is that , in the spot where you put your back there, there is a machine in-side, and that very machine massages your back. How crazy is that i reckon its totally wicked !!!!

On the cheve chair (thats what it is called) , it has the most brightess colours , like purple, light green , hot pink , and many more interesting and light-full colours.

The shelve that is connected to the chair, is quite handy for some moments . because as you can see, you can put books, cups, pencils, and anything else that you will like to put on.

I just used Auddition and Take-Aways.

so 104 cars would be left out side. And the rest of the cars would

Who Invented The Internet.

- When was it ‘’CREATED”

-Why did their invention come about?

Science Road Show , at Tamaki College..

Tamaki College was having a Science Road Show!

And to tell you the truth it was so interesting and amazing.

My favourite object in that area was the Piano that you could step on.

But here's the thing when you step on the BIG piano it makes noises I was honestly buzzing out, so as I was stepping on the piano I ended up doing my shuffle. It was completely funny. Tina and my cousin Tiana were laughing at me. Tiana was saying that I was a Clown. But thats just me WEIRD as! lol

My most favourite part of the Show was the 'FIERY FLAMES',

The manager of the company got all of these weird scientist stuff and put them together

causing it to flame up into HUGE FLAMES. It was totally wicked, I kept saying "OHHHHHH", because it was so awesome! I had wished that we could do experiments our-selfs but it didn't come true how sad.

At the end Room 20 had to leave and go back to our wonderful school, Point England.

I didn't want to leave that soon to be honest because I didn't try all of the things that were in there it was a bit devastating. But oh well ?

My Small Snippet, Highlight

As my lung’s were gasping for air, I couldn’t breathe because of the hotness that came from the bright beautiful sun yesterday. I looked in my bag to see if my Asthma Pump was in my bag, but it wasnt. I was trying to breathe as much as I could, but it really didn’t help.

As I was trying to keep up with all of the other fit girls, it honestly felt like I was going to die. I wanted to stop running but I didn’t give up! I kept running’ because I’m a true champion. NOT.
But when we stoped running I walked to my bottle of water as soon as I could, and drunk all of the water that was in the icey cold bottle.

The fitness test was over and done with, and I was completely tired but wait there was more, we still had to have a GAME! so as my poor innastant heart kept up with my running and things like that, I had to go on into GK which is Goal Keep,

Goal Keep is the pistion that keep’s the shooter from getting the goal in, I had never played that spot before, I had actually hoped that I could play in GD but my coach Bernie put me in as GK.
I think I played really bad in that spot. So I hoped off on the Second Quater and let the other girl’s play there number one sport, NETBALL

Lately' Room 20 has been learning about "Geometry"..

It has been quite tricky for me though, but I reckon I could ace it.

Here is a example of what Geometry really is???

My example show's that the shape's are 1 across, and 1 down.

Geometry means, a lot of things in Mathematic's. Plus it also has a relationship in its point's.

But at this moment we have been learning about Translating and Translation..

Making It In The "AUCKLAND" Netball Team

As I came home from, talking on the phone to my buddy 'Ala'. But when my dad told me that wonderful news I screamed and I think that I hurt 'Ala's' ear a bit.
She did ask me why I 'SCREAMED' and I told her, and to tell you this she said "CONGRATULATIONS", and I reaplied back ''Thank-You''.

In the morning well I was walking along the long pathway, I heard birds chirping and other things crawling along the grass, but there was just one thing left......
The cold cold breeze.

So as I got to school I walked into the gate with a smile on my face as if I had just won a BILLION dollars.
Plus well all the girls looked at me I smiled to them, They all said, " Hi Shontal" one by one and I waved to them. I love the girls at my school!!
I walked up to them and sat down next to my friend Rachael. Etta and herself were listening to 'Price Tags' by Jessie J.

I looked up into the sky and saw the beautiful sunshine raising up above.
It did hurt my eyes though.
Because of the shining colours that's it has.

Ms Nua and Mz Tito just walked out and I said ''HELLO'' in a loud loud voice.
What a BEAUTIFUL day it must be...

Camp T..C Highlight's

My Favourite Highlight at Camp was.....

1.The food because it was totally yummy. But I mostly enjoyed the delicoius Hangi made from Toko’s Dad. It had Chicken, Pork Chops, Stuffing, Kumara, Patatoe and many more

2.My second highlight was ROCK UP” they had the Alligator Alley, Rock Climbing, Ski Bords and Archery.

3.My third highlight was THE TC CONCERT” it was the bomb we made our own MTV movies but they had to be 1 minute long and our group performance had to be 5 minutes long or shorter. Our peformance was to Chain Hang Low... Thats song made us WIN ….........1st Place.

4.The most valuable lessons or thing from camp was! Never go to sleep late because you would have to wake up early and if you go to sleep late and wake up really early you are going to be very very upset?

How To Pitch a Tent

Pegs

Hammer

Poles

Fly (outer tent)

Base

Inner Tent

Instructions:

(Be aware that this may not be suitable for some types of tents).

During this process, make sure that you put spare pegs and into the bag that it came from.

1. First of all, you will need to unfold the base of the tent and lay it down. Ensure that the opening if the tent is facing the right way. Get a peg and place it through the eye lit. Hammer it in to the ground at a 45 degree angle AND so it is a bit hard to pull out. Repeat on every corner.

2. Once you finished hammering the pegs, you would have to get the poles out and clip the poles out and clip the black hooks on to the poles. One pole, through the inner tent. Once they reach the other side of the tent have a friend pull it out and put it in the second smaller eyelit. Repeat this process for the second pole.

3. Thirdly, you will need the fly (outer tent). Place it carefully on top of the inner tent. Make sure that the fly’s entrance matches the inner tents door.

4. You will find that there are little ropes attached to the fly. These are called GuyRopes. You will need more pegs for this. Hammer them down as you did the same with the four corners. But you don’t need to secure it as tightly.

5. Once you have finished that, you may admire you’re perfectly pitched tent.

Here's To Aunty Rangimarie, Gone But Never Forgotten

Anahera Morehu (daughter)

My Aunty Rangimarie,
was loved and she never stopped smiling and she would never let anyone down.
Auntie was always known as. Auntie Hun or Bub,
Until one day tragedy struck.

Auntie Rangimarie got diagnosed with Lung Cancer. It was sad news for the entire family and even her friends.
All of the Friends from the RSA, The Painters of Orakei and her entire family came to see her.
Her daughters Anahera and Rangimarie. Her sons Te Aroha and Tama we all very sad, even the young moko's felt what there parents felt like.
She was in alot of pain, and she could hardly talk.
But all of that was turned around when the happy one passed away on the 21st of February.
Also she was buried on the 24Th of February.

When the coffin was getting closed, I did not stop crying I was covered in tears non stop I didnt cry because I would'nt see her face again.
Only until the day that it will be my turn.

So from my heart I will like to say Rest In Peace to Auntie Rangimarie. God Bless You

Our First Mufti Day Of 2011 to help the Citizens Of Christ-Church

On Friday the 4th of Monday our school had MUFTI DAY.
We had mufti day to fundraise some Money for the citizens of Christ-Church.
Our school raised $748.00,
The whole school brang A GOLDEN COIN.
We were all surprised because we thought that it would of been least and some thought it was going to be more.

So to the people of Christ-Church who had lost there loved ones I wish you the best luck and I would like to say "God Bless You".

OMG! The assembly was such a success.

We got to sit on the chairs, listen to 'Mr Jacobsen' RAP, and many more awesome things.

When the Year 8's and 7's got to sit on the chairs, we were pretty exited and we even got a bit silly.

So we had to behave our self really really good, kind of like role-models.

We had to be awesome role0models because sometimes the small kids would look back and think, 'Oh I want to be like them'.

So we would have to listen and sit up you know that kind of stuff.

The boys performance they were such egg's.

They were mucking around but at least we actually laughed so that was hilarious.

It was all about Using Your Wits so i hope you enjoy my wonderful movie that I made.

When 'Mr Jacobson' starting playing the song the beat was really awesome, So I thought in my head 'Whooo this is going to be so great', so when he started to Rap I was laughing because I didn't think it would Poem's of fairy tales it was hilarious. It was kind of like Mailing of the 'Karate Kid' dancing to Poker Face by 'LADY GAGA' , but that is totally sad I was just joking around Mr Jacobson's song was awesome.

Which Story Is Better? Leave A Comment And TELL ME!!

Well in my extreme holidays, I did a lot of things.
I went to the movies, pools, shopping malls, and I even hanged out with my buddies!
It was a classic fun holiday!

In the holidays I went to the movies 5 or 6 times but the movie that I enjoyed watching was Tangled. It was all about a mother that was really sick! because she was pregnant ! So the king and his men went searching for a Bright Yellow Flower that could heal people. Not so long a WITCH had the flower and she would always hide it under these rocks.
But not so long the king found it and quickly jumped back onto his horse and rushed back and gave it to his beloved wife, The Queen. So the next day she was totally fine and happy because she had her baby girl right next to her and her name was ..........Rapunzel. She had nice beautiful long bright yellow hair! And the night that she had the baby an evil ladie ran into the room and stole the baby because the hair it had a bit of the flower power in it! So now after 18 years Rapunzel never knew that she was stolen when she was a baby so now she thinks that the evil mother is her Mum! It a really really cool movie.

So at the end of the day! I was totally tired ! When I got home hoped in the shower got out then went straight to sleep! zzzzz. Until my dad woke me up because he thought I took his smelly stinky socks...!

Story 2:!

Its Net-Book Time 2011...

Well it is a new year and the Net-Books are already here! At Point England School.
This is the most best opportunity ever.

I reckon we are the most luckiest school ever because we can go on to the internet! At certain times but I reckon its worth the wait! The part that im most interested on is! Getting to take it home.

The things that we have on the Laptop's is A Camera, Tux Painting, Pretty Cool Games, Sound and Video Accessories and many more! You name it.

But there is just one more thing I would like to say is well and that is a Huge Thank-You to the people that gave up there special time to make this wonderful opportunity to actually happen! I am so grateful there are many things that I'd want to say.

A New Year Has Began!

Well today is Thursday the 10 of February! And 4 days of school have already gone by and a new year has began!

Whoo Hoo!! I am totally happy that school is back my heart is pounding and my Jaw Bone is so sore from smiling to much! I missed school so much I cant believe it.
Usually kids would be shuttered and so angry that school is starting again, but not me im as happy as a person winning $50,000 dollars! ..
The other reason why I was happy was because we were getting our brand new NET-BOOKS. Yeah..

Our school Net-Books are our laptops that we get to take home when we fully know everything about them.
Plus we get to go on the Internet! Cool, Outstanding! All though we are only aloud on our Special Google Docs, Plus our awesome Blogs..

My Goal for this year is to " Play better at SPORTS and do better at my Writing.
And my goal in class is 'Reading'.
So im going to try and make it better by the end of the year.

Brilliant!, The work that I made was awesome.

The Year Is Nearly Over

Well the year here at Point England School had been a roller coaster.
We have been doing things at the last minute for really important things.

Prize-Giving!!

Well on Thursday 9Th of December we are having our Prize-Giving,
Prize Giving is when you get awards for doing a great job or something nice.
For our school we have the sport-man of the year, Team Spirit and heaps of other things.
I think on the night of the prize giving I'm going to cry because I would miss my friends
and plus I might move to Aussie (Australia) .
The things that I wondering about the most is if I'm going to become something from the prize giving.

Missing School!

Most of my friends would miss school and most of them are so happy . I'm really sad that school is going to be over I'm going to be missing school a lot, actually I'm going to miss it a lot.

Market Day

What did you enjoy most about Market Day?
Um! The thing what I liked about it was that Shaniah and I made a good profit.
How well prepared was your group?

Our group wasn’t really prepared we were wondering what we were going to do,
and 1 of our members droped out so we were only left so then we made it one the last day which wasnt hard.

How popular do you think your product was?

I dont really think our product was that popular but im happy that we sold all
of them so Yeah we did a great job.

What was your role in the group and how well did you fulfill your role?

Mine was just to buy some decerations and I did that so that was covered and second was the decerating for our chocolate crackle and I also did that so I did a brilliant effort.

Your Product?

Chocolate Crackles we added lollies, But we should of stak with our first plan.

Your Advertisement?

Our advertisment was awesome.
But we should of put in more detail into it.

Your stall set up?

Our store looked fine but I should of gotten better decerations then just streamers, I should of gotten ballons and things like that so our store would of standed out!

I just want to sy Thank You to all the people that has helped me this year.

Like Mr Burt, Mrs Flavelle, Ms Nua, Ms Tito, Surf Life Ed, Tamaki Collage and all of the other wonderful People.

Surf Life Education really helped me with the beach, They talk to us about Rips, Currents, Different Types of Waves, and things about staying in between the flags and the main things that you should have when your swimming.

Surf Life Ed! helped me understand what can happen when you are swimming.

One last thing, I want to say a enormous Thank You to them.

Tamaki Collage were really really helpful to me. They taught me how to play a different sport, and also taught me how to speak french. They even taught me how to build something good.

Athletics Day!!

WOW! Athletics was so fun.
There was a lot of sports going on it kind of reminded me of the Common Wealth Games.

As soon as I picked up the Softball to throw it, I was so nervous.
I got my arm ready and steady.
1,2,3 I was counting in my head Ms Tito had already said “go”,. I throw it I was surprised “WHOOO”, I yelled as I came First Place (1st).
I sat down hoping that no one would beat me, It was April’s turn she did her step she throw the ball, She was a good thrower, the ball hit the ground Yeah she didn’t beat me.

Shotput.
Softball Throw was over and next up was Shot put. I was the 4th person to have a turn.
‘DONG’ the ball hit the ground I was 1st again YEAH.
I wasn’t sure if I could make it because there was still heaps of girls to come.
The only reason why I was so scared was because Bobbi-Grace or April there were also good at shot put. Bobbi-Grace came up it was her turn to throw, What did she come? she came......................3rd. I was still 1st, Now it was April turn. As soon as she picked that ball up I started to KISS my Green Necklace because I’m in Mataatua. She throw got her arm ready, she bent right back. BOOM! “nooooo”, I was saying in my head she beat ME
I am so angry.

Sprint’s:
“SMACK” that irritating sound I here each year. I was running as hard as I can Bobbi was 1st and I was 2nd I couldnt beat her she is to fast.
I had to do 2 race’s and in both of them I came 2nd in both of them, But in the finals that was so diffacult. I came 3rd I was running so hard I didnt want to come last but at least I came.....................3rd, its amazing.

Discus:

OMG! discus was so hard, I am really bad at this sport.
When I threw it it was so crikid. I would of come 1st place if it didnt go crikid.
I think it was the wind! I think I have the wind curse.
Anyway I had another chance and when I threw this one it was totally out of my lead.
It sort of went it front of me, When the girls saw they were laughing, I surppose it was sort of funny cause I was laughing.
So all you guys from this was that I came .nothing at that hard evil sport

At the end of the day I was totally sore. I went home and I was tired, I layed on my couch and fell asleep straight away. Until my dad woke me up. I was so grumpy.

What the venom does is it paralyzes the nervous system.

Some people think that fly's are PEST'S but some of the fly's can be quite helpful,

For Example:

If there was a dead rat on the road or on the footpath a mother fly will lay her eggs in it. Usually when fly's have there baby's they are maggot's and what those maggot's do is they actually start eating the flesh from the rat and only leave the bones..

How Disgusting are Fly's:

Little Critters

“ I’M GOING TO SUCK YOUR BLOOD”, Mr Burt said in a
scary, husky voice.

WHOO! The immersion assembly was a ‘hit’ it was so funny.
There were teachers that were dancing, laughing, teasing each other and having baby’s to.

The funniest one was when The Queen Bee was having baby teddy bears.
First he was talking, talking, and talking then he said “ wait i think something is coming”, turns out it was a baby Teddy Bear.
He had about 8 or more it was shocking. A lot of people were laughing though, because of how he pulled the baby’s out.

My second favourite one was the Caterpillars, Our two Year 7 teacher’s. They were tied up in sleeping bags going across the stage.
When they were coming off the stage i think Ms Nua thumped her head on the box it was sad because everyone was laughing at her.

When it was just about to end the tall man came in, Mr J. He had a big snail shell on his back it was huge honestly.
He was talking about how “he was in bed and then suddenly he was rocking back and forward then he looked in the mirror and it seemed to appear that he had a snail shell on his back”.
Yesterday he had to go to the doctor for a operation they got it off so lucky for him he still walks slow though. He is now the slowest man on earth.

At the Movie's

When Julie and I went to the movie's we had NO IDEA what we were going to watch.

We kept saying witch one are we going to watch.

Then finally we knew what we were going to watch and that special movie was ''Despicable Me".

The movie is classic and funny.

He has these little friends, they are Yellow and they where Black suits with blue on them for the belt. My favourite Yellow Buddie is the one that's sticks his tongue out and goes "bllalalalala" it so funny. Plus that little friend he also punches the other's that's the mean part.

The main character is the Disheartening man. He is a man is EVIL he likes to steal things. Like the MOON for example.

At the start of the movie it all about who stole the PYRMID. He heres about it and then he freaks out because there is another EVIL person and his name was 'Vector', they kind of had a competition to see who was the best!.

The three little girls in the movie were SWEET they were kind and caring they were nothing like that nasty man.

The three little girls were in a Orphan waiting to be adopted. The parents that they were looking for were the ones who are Loving, Caring and honest.

Turns out it was the man he pretended to be a dentist he did not look like one though that was the funny thing about that. The little girls liked to sell cookie's they were like though's girls who go around selling things there called Scouts. That was there hobbie and also Bellay.

Fia Fia Night

"Haere Mai e nga manuhiri e

Haere Mai, Haere Mai, Haere Mai", I sang in a loud tone, everyone smiling some crying.

I was thinking in my head that I had the wrong KARANGA but I did a pretty good job.

A few seconds after the guitar starts to play. Our Group starts to sing, our beautiful voices blend in with the guitar. It was our last song we finished we were smiling and being proud of ourselves.

Our tectonik dance was AWESOME. Our arms were in the air and we were enjoying ourselves.

The song that we were dancing to was Machine Gun the music was pumping and crowd was WILD.

We had one main dancer and that was Henry he is the best.

At the end we finished it with pulsing it was so fun.

Thats what I have for now hope you liked my little story about our amazing night at Fia Fia.

Our Teacher Mrs Nua...

Our teacher Ms Nua is such a wonderful lady. When you are sad she will come and help you if your feeling down she someone you can lean on when you aren't so happy.

When it is Sports its so funny she would always have a SMILE on her face. She is the Netball coach and Basketball. She isn't really good at Rugby though because she doesn't know that much about that.

When she is teaching us at the teaching table its quite funny even though you have to learn and concentrate. One day my group Diamonds we had a maths session and the alarm went off because of the builders. The look on her face made our whole group laugh it was hilarious she basically jump off her chair and shaked her hands around so fast I couldn't stop laughing.

My teacher Ms Nua used to be my teacher when I was a NE ( new entrance ). It was in Room 4. I love those great memories I was SO cheeky when I was a little girl Ms Nua is such a great lady.

She is also a great teacher.

WOW! our Marine Time Museum Trip was such an awesome experience there was so much things to learn about I write 5 pages down and its all about different things.

Our adult who looked after us was my sister Renee, She's 23 years old.

The people that were in my group were Helen, Marven, Jonty, Feki, Tamati and Myself.

We are all funny some are dry.

The first thing that we did on that little journey we watched a short movie.

It was about these Maori people who came from a village, So some men and a couple of ladies went on an adventure to go and look at the wonderful world New Zealand! It was a cool short movie.

So straight after that we went into the Waka area. Our tour guide was an Old Lady called Mrs. Johnson she was sweet.

She was telling us that we had to tie these 2 sticks together and I was saying to myself that it is gonna be so easy turns out it was SO tricky.

So we were just standing there focusing on what we were doing well some of the boys were playing around . After a while we were all finally finished YEAH. So then it was nearly time up to go to the next activity the Ted Ashby Sailing.

The Ted Ashby is COOL as you could see the City and the Volcano, Mt Rangitoto. I was just sitting there enjoying the fresh air and looking at the beautiful ocean. Thinking about somethings AWESOME things.

Then a couple of minutes after that April joined me and we were just talking about some other stuff.

Then after that we were right underneath the Harbour Bridge it was such an awesome thing to do it was FUN.

When we were actually underneath the Bridge a Man jumped off it was a scene everyone was shocked.

It was incredible.

Not so long after that we headed back to the Museum we weren't that far so we sang some songs like Poi E, Karanga Mai and a couple more.

Everyone stooped and stared at us (Such good singers).

So we all finished our songs and we the boat was just pulling in.

When we were all getting out of the boat and saying our Thank Yous we saw the other class some of us were getting smart to them and some of them were getting smart back.

It was quite funny. But was silly.

So then we went back to get our bags to have lunch our yummy yummy lunch...

I had a packet of Doritos, Cookies, and a sandwich it was delicious.

I was like SO hungry.

We had 5 minutes or 10 minutes to eat until we had to go for a look around the huge Museum it was BIG and I mean big.

There were so many floor there was a floor on top of another one its amazing you wouldnt get lost I got so many information so much to found out about.

We had 1 hour in there or 2. Then straight after we went to the Bus and we all headed back to our wonderful school Point England...

Patterns are so cool. I like the funkiness and the weirdness.

Designs are amazing and colourful.

My room has three main colours in it and that Purple, White and Black my mum did it for me it was mostly a surprise.

But I was so shocked.

There could be a lot of weird, ugly, or colourful designs or patterns.

By favourite designs are the weird and colourful ones.

Life of Education Caravan

A couple of weeks ago Room 20 went to Life of Education Caravan.
It was such a cool thing to do.
The things that we learnt about is , How to keep your body safe and Making the right choices.
I learnt a lot of things from the Life of Education Caravan. Like there would always be consequences if you make the right choices or bad choices, plus there's 400 chemicals in nicotine, and did you know 5,000 New Zealanders die from CANCER a day that's 'shocking'. There is heaps more information.

It was so cool at the Life of Education Caravan and plus it was an great experience. Our class had 3 sessions, and every session we had 2 hours so we did a lot of things in that massive Caravan we did activities, we danced and we even did our own little show. It was so FUNNY. The first one was Charm and Tanielu, the second one was Rayden, and the last one was Kalim and Tuipolotu. Kalims little act was such an funny show, But Tuipolotu made a very BAD choice he said a naughty word.
Everyone in the Caravan laughed.

Not so long after the that about 30 minutes later we all saw Harold the giraffe. He was still the same height and other things like that.

But he didn't just look at one person that heliked.

It was awesome in the Life of Education Caravan. I had SO much fun!!!

Weird Sisters!

Whooo! Man I had a weird holiday.
On the first week. My sister and I stayed home it was FUN!.

The things that we were doing was, turning up the music, taking our hair out and shaking it around.
Then when one of our favourite song’s came on we would be worse
we would yell our heads off and laugh too. FUNNY!.
Non-stop we would dance and dance until.............
we were tired.

Renee and I wanted to keep dancing but all of our energy was gone it wasn’t funny that time.
So then we hoped into the car and went to GI (glen innes). We had the meanest food from “My Bakery” it was yum as! we munched it back.
So then we went back home and rested!. Waiting for the next day to come

My Uncle Gordan and the Whanau

WOW! My uncle Gordan is amazing he does Ta moko, Carvings and + he is a ACTOR!.

My uncle Gordan use to act on Shortland Street, The piano and many more movies. He is a awesome guy.

He now has a WIFE and her name is 'Yvanca' she has the best job. She is a LAWYER.

One time my Mum (Patricia) and I went to there house to stay for the night so we were just talking and talking for hour's until we were tired. So then we all went to sleep nice and warm people snoring zzzzzz!.

Until 5:30am in the morning we all heard Yvanca's alarm it was SO annoying!.

So as everyone was up. We all had a cup of tea . It was SO HOT!.

Then when it was about 1.00pm me and my mum left to go home and we all said "good bye"...

Music to me is SO cool. I've always loved music ever since I was a baby or a little girl.

One of my hobbies is listening to music and singing with my friends and family that's what makes me happy.

My favourite songs so far are Love like woe from The Ready Set, Cooler than me from Mike Porsner and Listen by Beyonce they are cool songs.

The singer's that I like is Beyonce, Chris Brown, Shontelle, Mike Porsner and the two bands PARAMORE and The Ready Set.

She always makes me happy when I am feeling down.

We always encourage another when we are shy or whakama.

We may have little or big arguments but we WORK IT OUT.

When we are always HAPPY.

When I am bored I pick up the phone and ring her. The only thing we talk about is school and some other things.

Sometimes we talk for hours until my dad tells me to get off the phone.

At school she is mostly the only girl I play with. Sometimes we just sit down and relax.

Then when we want to play out on the field it is HILARIOUS it's so funny.

We are crazy we are like chipmunks who have just finished coffee.

In class we are on the same group. Our group are the principals. I have funny people on my group i'm the captain.

Anyway we always talk on our desk's I think that's we never get our work done then we have detention, no i'm joking.

My friend Shaniah and I may have fights sometime's but we all know we would always be friends forever in our HEARTZ !!!

WOW!

Tuakana Teina was so fun to do because we had to help the little children learn how to save their work. It was a bit hard because they wouldn't listen to you probably.

My first student was Adam. He was a bit hard at times because he talked so quiet and if he spoke louder it would of been alright.

So then through the weeks I started to get use to it. My class and I have rotations thats cool.

I reckon working with the little kids is awesome and it's a great experience

WOW ! I'm already in intermediate. My classroom is looking awesome. We got new desk's even
new computer's even more stuff its been amazing. My teacher is awesome she is real kind is well her name is Mrs Nua she use to be my teacher when I first started school.

This year I am looking forward to the rugby,Trips and camp's. I'm am looking forward to rugby because I want to

represent our school and plus you can go places to play the games. Last year we played a school called Viscount and they were real HARD ! We played another team called Koru they were sort of easy but rough because when they go to tackle you they struggle you it is sore.

I am looking forward to the camps is well. Our camp is usually real cool. But this year our camp might be wonderful but our teacher and principle are still planning it and they wont tell us. So I think they are trying to keep it a BIG SECRET .

Our trips are so.. cool because we meet famous people we have picnic's our extension got to talk to Will Smith is well. They even sung to him.

The patrols people get to go to Rainbow's End at the end of the year.

My school have meet a lot of new people and gone places

Pt England Schools Production Night

WOW! The production was amazing there were all sorts of different things like singing, dancing, laughing and also a lot of acting too.

When the groups were waiting for there que to walkout and perform 'Zip Zap Avenue' I was nervous and shy. It felt like my heart was going to explode into one million pieces. So, when Sione and Jordan yelled out "It's Showtime!" all of us had to walk out happy and proud.

I kept saying to myself, "You're okay you can do it'' then I just walked out there all happy and smiling. As we were singing and enjoying ourselves the audience looked happy and shocked that we were so talented. We were going hard doing our best and also having heaps of fun.

As soon as the song was over we all went back in the music room.

The trolls were so cool, they were doing the Michael Jackson Thriller dance. It was amazing. I was the one on the second level on the right. I reckon I did pretty good. The main dancers were Jacob and Junior. Jacob was the boy right in the middle in the pink shirt and black and white hair all frizzing up just like mine. When we were dancing the audience was cheering like crazy. That's probably why we were so awesome.

As soon as the video of the Barbies began Latu and I started to do the dance because we kenw the moves. The boy in the middle was doing hilarious facials. Everyone was laughing but the only thing that was dumb is that we didn't get to do it live. We did it on video and showed it on the screen on stage, so when it was finished everyone was amazed.

When I was Walking up the hill my legs were saw, I was getting real angry, and I was moaning alot because this boy named Cruz kept holding on to my shirt and holding me back
my cousin so that was alright.because he couldn't walk up the hill by him-self because he was to too tired and he didn't realise that I was saying im so saw so after thatlong until we got to the zig zag hill he let go and I said to him "you finally want to let go when we are finally there", Then he replied back to me '' Thanks" and went walking down the hill Iwas really angry about that but I didn't quite mind because he was. So as I was running
and sort of walking I kept getting told off by the parents that I had to slow down but NO.. I couldn't stop because the hill was so steep and it looked dangres because the path way was so small I nearly fell off so then I just toke my time and I was going down real slow until I fanilly got down ...

Sweet 11th Victoria's Birthday

It was Sunday and it was my friend birthday. When I woke up I hope in the shower got ready and asked my dad ''Can I have forty dollar's'' and here's me thinking to myself like he's going to give me it and then what do you know he actually gave it to me. I was so jolly glad wasn't I. So then when I was all ready I was going to my friends Victoria's house she was all ready when I got there. So then her brother, herself and I went to the shop and guess what I done the most stupid thing of all I brought seventeen dollars worth of lollies. I brought chocolate, bubblegum and all sorts of yummy things.

When we were done at the shop's I said to Victoria and her brother ''Hey I thought we were suppose to pick Helen and Kalim up and she replied back ''True that'' and I said ''YES''! So as we were walking down by Helen's street we heard someone say ''eeewww" and then we looked back and it was Helen and Kalim and then Kalim said ''eeewww" again. S then we were waiting for the speeding cars go past we walk past and when we went across Victoria had some bad news and that bad news was that we all weren't going to RAINBOWS END we were all mad and we were wondering what we were going to do for the day so then I said ''Should we just walk around or should we just go to the school and play on the playground'' and they all agreed with the going to school idea.

After school when the bell rang we had nothing to do for our homework so Ms T said "How 'bout you guys do something that would surprise your parents or make them go 'what the heck are you doing', " so then we replied back, "Yea".

So when I went home I made my room a pig sty and started to wave my hair around like a physcomanic. My mum, my sister and my nephew were all wondering 'What's all that banging and yelling?" so my mum came in and said "Oh My, what did you do to your room?"

I was in big trouble. I had to clean the room up. It was so boring cleaning up but I guess that's what I get for messing my room up - hahahaha.
My hair was also knotty and it was sore brushing my hair. When I had finished all of the stuff I had to do I went to sleep.

I WONDER WHY DINOSAUR'S CAME EXTINCT!!! Team 4 are wondering

Palaeontologist are still not sure why dinosaurs became extinct. The most popular theory is that "a meteorite hit the Earth, covering it in a thick cloud of dust. This blocked the sun, and caused huge changes to the environment to which the dinosaurs were unable to adjust."

So what it says is that the environment changed. I heard that the world was called Pangaea during the time the world started to spilt apart and I reckon that the meteorite started to make the earth separate...

We are lucky any way that the dinosaurs are not alive now!

Freeze Frame Ice Baby

Yesterday afternoon after school I went home , and when I went inside and I said "Hi dad what are you reading?'' then he replied back ''I'm just reading about the dinosaur elephant they found''. Then I said ''can I please have a read" then he said ''sure'' so then while I was reading it, it had some interesting thing's in there. Here are some of the things in in the story

The body was 37,000 years old, that was really old. It also said the mammoth was found in the Arctic Tundra revealing new insight's about the extinct ice age beasts. They also said that the beast was also perfectly preserved. It looked like the baby mammoth was asleep only for a moment. For 37,000 years she was locked hard into a rock.

Lot's of brown hair still clung to the 1m tall body.
Paleontologists have spent two year's since the body was discovered in painstaking research. They believe the information they have gleaned will help them understand more about the wolly mammoths.

Dino- Might Assembly

Dinosaur's are ..... Really big creature's, they are like GIANTS!. They eat so much at once. The dinosaurs lived way back in the past.

On the first day of Term 2 we had....lots of fun learning and watching dinosaurs. It was amazing, especially Mr Burt. Mr Burt was incredible because he went up to Feki and then grabbed Feki and dragged him down by the stage and he started to whack him with his plastic blow up club It was funny and after he said that he said to us "That isn't enough food "so then he went to get another person and it was a boy from my class and his name was Tyler. He did the same thing to Tyler, dragged him, started to whack him and then that was enough to eat for him. Everyone was laughing but it was kind of sad too.

Mr Burt and the teachers were dressed up, acting or dancing. It was amazing and so much fun. Team 1 had signs that said WE ARE NOT EXTINCT YET it was pretty cool.Then up next was Team 2. They were awesome because they were dancing to a song about dinosaur's. I reckon everyone enjoyed it because that was the best one so far. Team 3 were investigators dressed up as scientists. They were really good because they actually looked like real investigators. They were going around looking for bones from dinosaurs and they actually found some real bones but they weren't real, they were just big bones. It was 2# BEST!

Dinosaurs are....really big interesting things to learn about, but too bad for them they are extinct. They were extinct millions and millions of years ago. They were extremely dangerous animals and we are lucky that they are gone because in about a week or two we would most probably be all dead and that would be terrifying for the whole world!

TV 3 Pictures

On Monday at 6.30am in the morning the P.E.S racing team had to go to school. We had to go to school because we had to get filmed by a TV crew. It was really interesting for me and the crew. All of the driver's had a go at driving, it was really fun. I am a driver as well. There were some other school's there too. Like King's school, Sacred Heart, Bailey Road and Churchill Park School, Parrnell Primary and plus us which was Pt England School. Then at 8.00 o clock we got filmed by TV3 and I was the one who had to get in the derby and drive it, but before I did that I had to go and tell the man what my name was. So then I told him and he said to me "well then hop into the car and go and wait in there while I go and get my word's ready". Then we would get started, then they got ready and started to film and when he said "and here is the driver Shontal" I had to look back and wave at the camera. I felt nervous and when I turned my back I had the giggles and then he said "3.....2.....1.... and RACING !!!!" Then I was off. When I was going down the hill the Pit crew who was Sela and Destiny ran down with me and then they said BREAK !!! very loudly. It hurt my ear's, then I got out of the derby and I was hiding my face because I was ashamed of myself because I would be all over the news. But now some people have already said "Hey Shontal I saw you on news driving that little go kart" and I said ''Yeah it was lot's of fun."

Then I went home and when I got home my mum and Nan goes we both saw you on the TV and it was really cool to see that people saw me on TV but kind of embarrassing but it was really fun for me and the crew......

Going up North

In the holidays I went to a farm up North to see my sister. She live's with our cousin because she didn't like living in Glen Innes. Every holiday I go to see my sister for a visit.

When I was up North at Waipu we went to the beach at Waipu Cove. It is a wildlife beach. There were rockpools full of crab's, starfish and spider crabs. It was cool.

When it was high tide and you are fishing, King fish would come right up to your feet and when they did my cousin Johan would use the spear, then spear them. But most escaped from him so those one's were lucky.

The Waipu Caves were scary but in a funny way because when you go in, there are heap's of cave's with spiders, glow worms, Hu Hu bugs, Hu Hu grubs and all kinds of weird and crazy stuff.

On January the 18th it was birthday. It was fun. I had a big cake and I had all unhealthy food. When I opened my present's I felt excited because I was wondering what I had. I got a body wash, a set of games, new clothes and money. They were all cool presents. After my birthday, three days later, we went back to Auckland. I reckon I had a fun holiday with my family.

When Room 15 went swimming at YMCA it was cool because when we were swimming i got to go where the good people because my teacher said that i was a good swimmer but on the first day we had to be tested.My whole class done good when the first day pasted and it was the second day we were sperated in to two groups. The professinal swimmers in the other lane . The other people who were in the other lane had too still do practice

Sport Rotation

:HOOK:Today the senior school had a game day we played.Volley Ball King Dodge Ball Parachute and Trampoline:ORIENTATION: When the senior school had a sport rotation we played our sport at our school hard court and in the hall it was tired because the sun was out and we were running lifting jumping and pulling it was hard.P1 Volley ball wasn't the original one it was as if it was lava lava volley ball because we had to put the ball into the lava lava and about 4 or 5 people wold have to hold it and then we lift it to the other side and try to make it and my team lost but unless we had fun:P2 King Dodge was difficult because it was like you would be looking this way and then that way and it was like a very busy road where cars where they cant STOP it was like when should i go our king dodge ball person was Daniel and i was to busy looking at the other king dodge his name was Boheva and if our king dodge ball person Daniel didn't make to the other side then the other team would be able to get the ball and throw it to us.

On Tuesday the 26 Pt England School was watching the movie that room fifteen made it was cool because we had Bike Riders Gymnastics Shot Put Swimming and Rowing.It was cool because it was the gymnastic part it looked real because our teacher filmed her daughter and than Paris jumped out of no where pretending that it was her but it wasn't I was to be it but i missed school so then it was Paris.When it was lunch time heaps of teachers were saying good job for the movie it was amazing

Today on the ninth of May when we were listening to our Pt England School teachers in assembly we had a Police helicopter come over onto our front field. It was cool because when we were outside we all were waiting for the police to come out then Mr Burt said now the police are going to speak with you. One of the policemen was speaking to us he said that they have a torch underneath the helicopter and then he said that that light can be brighter than 30 million candles . When they talked about the police helicopter my friend Janet the policewoman came up to me and we started talking and then after we started talking they said BYE then we said BYE.

From the last to weeks Pt England School came back from they holidays.When we came back from our holidays we went to school and we had an immersion assembly. When we had our immersion assembly we came in and first Team 1 came up and told us about the past. Then it was Team 2 turn and they were funny because when they came up they wanted to be champions but they were just sitting on they bottoms and just watching and then they couch came up and said give me 20 push ups so then they did and when they finished they were finish we had all of the other teams came up and the assembly and when I looked at my teacher Ms Squires was a basket ball player i liked the immersion assembly because it was funny,fun and cool

Hot Air Balloon

On the seventh of May Pt England school went to the hard court to see what we had to see. When we sat on the court we all saw Matt and Daryl setting up the hot air balloon. First they got out their big fan to put some cold air into the hot air balloon. The people who were holding the hot air balloon were Daniel, Tinei, Jordon and Darius.

When my teacher Ms Squires gave me the camera to me I went around the hot air balloon. When I got to the back of the hot air balloon it smelt like rotten poo.
When Brendon and Ronald went underneath the air balloon they were trying to get out but they could not because the hot air balloon kept on rolling on them and then they finally got out. I saw Daryl the owner heating the air in the balloon. It was cool because it was like a gas heater. It sounded like 10 people were farting at the same time.
It was funny when Mr Brown was trying to keep the basket down for Matt and Daryl.
I also saw a pirate flag which was tied onto Matt and onto the hot air balloon.
When I was watching them I really think that I learnt heaps of stuff.
When they were filling up the balloon it looked fun to do. When it was finally up it was covering the sun. Before that when the sun was in my face I could not see Matt and Darylvery well.
Then the hot air balloon was going up and down up and down.
After that the whole of Pt England School said "Thank you Matt and Daryl . . . . . . ."

The Treaty of Waitangi

We have been learning about the Treaty of Waitangi. It was an agreement between the Maori people and the queen of England. It was signed in 1840. We are also learning about the 3 parts of the treaty, the three P's. They stand for Participation, Partnership and Protection. We've been learning about the three P's as part of the Pt England Way. We have been learning about it because it will help us achieve our goals.

Camp

At Pt England School all of the seniors had a camp. We had it at our school on our front field. We had it for three days. It was called Camp Care-a-lot. My teacher's name was Mr-Nev and my captains' names' were Leilani and Steven. I was really excited about rockclimbing, 10 pin bowling, kayaking and stuff like that. Our drivers were Heidi, Mr-Nev, Roz and Lydia. Heidi works at the dental clnic and Mr Nev is a teacher, Roz was a helper and Lydia was a helper as well. The boss of our camp was a teacher her name was Ms Nua.
